Impact of Trainings to the Employee Work Attitude

Employee is a blood stream of any business. It focuses on the role of training in enhancing the performance of the employees. Training plays an essential role to build of competencies of new as well as current employees to complete their task in an effective way. It also prepares employees to hold potential position in an organization with full capabilities and helps to defeat the problems in any job related area. Training is considered as that sort of investment by the firm that not only brings high return on investment but also supports to achieve competitive advantage. Some of the organizations plan and execute the training program for their employees without identifying the reason and objectives and without knowing what the knowledge, skills and abilities employees would learn at the end of the training program and whether they will be able to accomplish targets on job (Imran2, 2013). According to this idea, the relationship between training and development programs and how can be changed the employee attitude towards their performance increasing. Employee plays major role in the company. So, it is important to identify correct neediness of the employees when designing training and development programs. Otherwise, it will draw back. No point of success of the employees when providing irrelevant training and development programs.

(Tahir, 2014) find the relationship between Training and Development and Employees’ work attitudes. HRM plays a more key role in managing an organization, such as the effects of HRM on innovation, ‘new way of working principles for working relations and enhancing employees’ capability. Training and Development is an important part of HRM. It is important for organization to get experienced and talented employees for better performance, and employees will be than capable when they have the knowledge and expertise of doing the task.

Considering the above scholars’ findings, he explained the relationship between Training and Development and Employees’ work attitudes. Human Resource Management plays a vital role in the companies and by that, Training and Development covers employees’ functional and skill tasks to change. Correct Training and Development programs can build experienced and skillful employees to the industry. Therefore the unbroken partnership between Training and Development and work attitude is more vital to the company.

(Truitt1, 2011) clearly state that training is so essential in forming positive attitudes that it may further go ahead to job proficiency, and not getting sufficient training is connected with a feeling of reduced capability, it seems very logical to expect that poor training could result in poor attitudes about performance, which then could lead to poor performance The results also showed that those employees who fully agreed that they received effective training and those who fully agreed they received significant training felt they verified an increase in job proficiency and work attitude.

This also clearly discussed about the relationship between training and development and the employee attitude and how it brings the advantage to the performance.  It is incumbent on training and development professionals to design, implement, and evaluate the effectiveness of their programs in reducing disputes in workplace performance.

Trained employees were more satisfied than the untrained employees (Abdulla, 2011). When the training and development programs are held each and every employee has a chance to improve his or her current skills and adopt into new skills which might be needed in the near future. In training and development sessions employee can see where they are performing well and in which areas they are lacking behind or their performance is not satisfactory.

employees have perception that organization is helping them to increase their skills and they feel that if they will have some sort of issue regarding performance they, by participating in training and development programs can resolve those issues and in result they are satisfied that they are being valued by organization and organization is investing in them. These all factors leading to satisfaction result in highly improved employee performance. When the employees are well trained and they know that their organization is spending huge sum of money in training and development programs they in return want to give back to organization by showing them their improved performance. As the employees are satisfied with their job they don’t feel any stress or burden, which are most common reasons for employee’s bad performance, the employees are happy and it is common perception that happy employees are good performers (Khan, 2017).

Conclusion:

Employee work attitude is must to control the organization’s functions smoothly. A happy employee will be rewarded the customers. Therefore, it could be considered trainings enhance the employees’ work attitude into great level.
